First students drew a picture based on a foreign proverb, then they wrote a story based on a foreign drawing and a foreign proverb.

A BOY AND HIS RED BIRD

Once open a time, there was a boy. He had got a big and red bird. He and his bird liked very much to travel around the World. One day, they were very tired to travel and took a break somewhere. He saw a big pet shope at there. And he wanted to have more birds. He thought that he could travel more places with more birds. But he wasn’t happy with any of them. He hadn’t a good time with them as he had a good time with the red one. He turned back and apologized to his red bird. At the end he understood that it is better to have little but be him than to have many good things but none of them belong to him. They continued to travel the World together…..

Once upon a time, one boy was very happy because it was his birthday.
In his birthday party, there was a delicious and marvellous chocolate cake.
The boy’s mum made slices with the cake and she gave the slices to the guests.
Everybody ate the cake. But they forgot the birthday boy.
There was no cake anymore and the birthday boy didn’t eat the chocolate cake.
As we know…

Once upon a time there was a king that lived in a beautiful land. There was gold, silver and copper. It was a very rich kingdom that was envied by other rulers. One day a very tricky king wanted to conquer this land and to have it he started a battle. During two long years both kings were fighting each other and many people died.
The next summer it was so hot that both kings were tired of the conflict. The royal counselor wrote a letter to propose a commercial exchange to the hostile king so that they could have peace. They agreed and signed the letter.
The kings became friends forever and both kingdoms lived peacefully.

Firstly we have created mixed country teams. They are red team, yellow team, blue team, green team and white team.Then all team members wrote the acrostic proverb poem of our project name.

“Happy eTwinning Day in Turkey”
Turkish team celebrated the eTwinning Day at Şefkat Secondary School and disseminated the project at the school.

On the 14th February 2019, Spanish team celebrated the eTwinning Day at Felipe II in Mazarrón. Here are some pics of that day. In that day, they disseminated the project at the school.

“At this school we have been developing etwinning projects for some years. Etwinning is an initiative which promotes educationalcollaboration between various European partners through digital technology. This enables and enhances tools and different innovativepractices in the classroom. Etwinning has permitted our school a broader access to our surroundings and also to the world as we work with diverse countries in Europe.By means of sharing good practices there is an innovation in the classroom which benefits our students. The main language of communication is English. Besides learning new technological skills the students develop their skills in the English language,too. This year we have been working with different countries namely with Turkey, France and Spain. With this project the students have developed lots of activities improving their own cultural awareness. Furthermore, they have learned more about the other countries which is quite important.
This kind of opportunityshould be offered to more and more schools. This kind of projects will surely go on in our school and I’m thinking ofopeningour school to Erasmus + projects as this could be important not only for our students but also forthe teachers.”
