Tolga Kavuncu

Hi there, I am Tolga I’m 15. I live in Istanbul, Turkey. I study in Besiktas Ataturk Anatolian High School. I like playing new video games, trying out new hardware and watching films. I love playing with my dog and spend time with my family.

Mira Metin

Hey, my name is Mira and I’m 15. I live in Istanbul, Turkey. I’m a sophomore student at Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School. I like learning new languages. I like cooking and trying new things in kitchen. Mostly, I spend my time with my sister. Because she is my sister and my best friend.

Serra Akkaya

Hi, I’m Serra and I’m from Turkey, Istanbul. I’m 15 years old and I’m a student of Beşiktaş Atatürk Anotolian High School. I would describe myself as someone who is positive about every aspect of life. This is a bad feature for some people, but not for me. Positivity causes your face to always smile. After that, my biggest hobby has been talking with friends, I love talking to people about cases, events, situations; about everything that might come to mind. That’s all about me.

Hi, my name is Zeynep İsmihan. I’m 16 and I live in Istanbul. I’m a 11th grade student at Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School. I like meeting new people and watching movies in my free time. I also like meeting up with my friends and socializing. People usually say I’m an excited person, well, they are pretty right; I’m excited for this project too!
Although these kind of projects are strange to me, I’m sure it will be an amazing experience.

Gizem Gümüşışık

Hi, I’m Gizem and this is my third year in Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School. I was born in Ankara in 2002 but I’ve been living in Istanbul for three years. Mostly. On weekdays I study. Especially I’m keen on Maths so it’s not too hard for me to do that. When I’ve free time, I read some novels or hang out with my friends. On the weekends, I spend some time with my mom. That’s how my life usually goes on.

Yaren Ciğerci

My name is Yaren Cigerci. I’m 15 . I study at Ataturk Anatolian High Schol. I want to be an engineer. I have a brother and sister. My sister is 18 and she is a student. My brother is 10 and he is a student. My mother is a housewife and my father is a painter. I like spending time with my family. I like travelling to different places. My hobbies are riding a bike, reading a books and swimming. I am crazy about films and ı try to see a new one every week. I am alsointerested in art. I draw picks to the stones and paint them in my free time.

Hello! My name is Sıla Şahin and I’m 15. I live in İstanbul, Turkey and I am studying at Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School in my second year. I am a volleyball player. I’ve been playing for 3 years. I’ve also been playing violin since 2009. I’m playing piano too but in these days I couldn’t do that. In my free times I’m watching films or series.I want to make a world tour that beginning with Spain. Spain is my dream city.
I have a sister and brother. My sister is 26 and she is an environmental engineer. My brother is 23 and he is a university student, his department is Law. My father is business manager and my mother is a housewife.

Hi! My name is Feyza Kıribrahim I am 15 years old and I live in Istanbul, i am in 10th grade in Besiktas Ataturk Anatolian High School. We are four sisters, my elder sister is an english teacher in middle school. My second sister is a nurse and my third sister is a nurse too. My father is retired. My mother is a housewife.In the future, i want to be a dentist. And i love playing badminton. And i go swimming twice a week. In my spare times i go cinema, i read books. That’s it.

Azra Çelik

Hi! I’m Azra Çelik. I’m 15 but I’ll be 16 in February. I am studying at Beşiktaş Anatolian Highschool. I am a person who loves reading books. I really love them because they have different huge world. In every other book, we can see very different things, emotions, cases… Also I like drawing. For as long as I’ve known myself I loved it. I have to study hard for being successful in these years so I’m trying to do my hobbies.
In the future, I want to become a doctor and if I become, I want to go Africa to treat people without taking money. Because they need it and I want to do it voluntarily.

I love playing computer games, watching films and listening to music. I also like hanging out with my friends and reading books in my free time. I want to be a computer engineer in future.

Hi!I am Zehra Ece . I am 16 years old and I am sophomore in Besiktas Ataturk Anatolian High School. I am interested in art and sport. On weekends I go swimming and drawing classes.Also I love meet with my friends and I usually spend my time with them. We have done some activites about Charles Dickens. We made a fun test called ‘Which Charles Dickens are you?’ and shared our results. After the test, we shared our thoughts on Charles Dickens. We made some videos about him too.

Furthermore, we answered some questions about a text from the Oliver Twist novel. The text was about Oliver’s mother giving birth to Oliver, the dialouge between the Doctor and Oliver’s mother and the death of Oliver’s mother.

What’s more, we have done some activities about the novel and the film of Oliver Twist:

Firstly, we made an character analysis of Oliver Twist novel.

Furthermore, we have done an test about characters of Oliver Twist and shared our results. After the test, we evaluated the film and write our opinions about the characters, acting, places, suits, etc.

In addition, we acted some scenes in the Oliver Twist film and we shared our feelings about acting in Oliver Twist. We tried our best to represent the feelings of the characters. We had so much fun and learned lots of things about acting. Also our English is improved.

Finally, we evaluated the whole project. In this project, we learned a lot. We learned how to use web2tools, we learned about Charles Dickens and his novels, our English is improved and we had lots of fun.
