Selimiye Mosque

Selimiye Mosque, which was created by Mimar Sinan at the age of eighty and defined as inin my masterwork im, is among the masterpieces of world architecture as well as Ottoman-Turkish architectural history. The mosque, which is the symbol of Edirne and the Ottoman Period; Between the years 1569-1575 II. It was built by the order of Selim.

Edirne Great Synagogue

Edirne Great Synagogue, located in Edirne, Turkey’s largest and Europe’s third largest synagogue worship. In 1492, the synagogue was rebuilt in 1907 with the decree of Sultan Abdulhamid II. The French architect, France Depré, designed the building inspired by the synagogue Leopoldstädter Tempel in Vienna.

II.Beyazıd Complex Health Museum

Located on the banks of the Tunca River, the complex is one of the most important works of Edirne. The mosque is spread over a wide area with the medical school, imaret, hospital, bath, kitchen, food warehouses and other departments. The architect of the complex built by Bayezid in 1484-1488 is Hayreddin.
