Everybody has those moments where you completely lose hope, give up and lose all motivation.
I went through these moments and I would like to tell you how I dealt with them.
Losing all motivation makes you feel depressed, like you cannot listen to your head that tells you to move and most of the time you feel empty.
When I feel like this, I usually try to think about something to distract me or listen to sad songs, which can be helpful sometimes, and sometimes not.
It does not help me at all.
The feeling of motivation can suddenly be felt one moment, and then go away, which is not so helpful, but we need to learn how to deal with it.
Talking about all of that, there are a lot of ways to feel motivated and determined which I will be taking about now.
First of all, focus on the good things around you, like the nice weather, the things you accomplished, the good taste of the tea you are drinking and more.
Secondly, you can make yourself busy by going out with friends, drawing, reading a comedy book, watching a movie and much more. The options are endless.
On top of that, sometimes, taking a good rest is very helpful too.
Staying at home and not going to school/work for a few days, taking a nap and taking care of yourself.
I can tell you.
Last year, I had a month where I felt very depresed, lonely and unmotivated. I did not want to eat, or do the things I like and am interested in.
My parents let me stay at home for one day and not go to school. I got some rest, calmed down a bit, and it actually made me feel much better and happier.
It gave me the motivation to start taking care of myself.
Thirdly, making a schedule for every day WITH SOMEONE ELSE can give you the feeling of motivation, make you feel you want to accomplish everything you scheduled for yourself and make the person you made the schedule with be proud of you. This way helps me a lot.
All in all, feeling motivated is something very important for every person, and every person should know what motivates them and gives them…
DETERMINATION.
Every person eventually has those moments and feels powerless, but we need to understand and accept that in the end, we need to get up and deal with our problems and try to fix them.
I feel motivated to stay positive and determined, and even when I will feel unmotivated, I will get out of it eventually, and I am sure everyone of you can and will get out of it too by using the ways I mentioned and beliving in yourself.
