Wolfie the Wolf Pup

Once upon a time, in a forest far, far away lived a tiny wolf pup named Wolfie. He lived with his Mama Wolf, Papa Wolf and his family and friends.

One day, when Mama Wolf and Papa Wolf were busy picking vegetables in the garden, Wolfie decided to take a walk in the forest.

He walked and walked and did not look back.

Very soon, he looked around and didn’t see his Mama or Papa and began to cry.

He cried, “Where am I? Where is my Mama? Where is my Papa? I want to go home!”

The wise owl in the oak tree and the handsome deer heard his cry and asked him, “Little wolf pup, why are you crying?”

Wolfie said, ” I am lost! I took a walk in the forest alone and now, I can’t find my Mama and Papa and I can’t find my home!”

The wise owl said, ” Be calm sweet Wolfie, I will go to the top of the tree to look for your family and home!”

The handsome deer said, ” Be calm sweet Wolfie, I will gallop in the forest until I find your family and home!”

The wise owl flew to the top of the tree. The handsome deer galloped in the forest. Little Wolfie waited and waited and waited some more.

All of a sudden, the wise owl flew to the bottom of the tree and the handsome deer came galloping back to Wolfie.

“Wolfie, Wolfie, we have found your Mama and Papa and here they are!”

Mama Wolf, Papa Wolf and sweet little Wolfie, the wolf pup, hugged and kissed. Wolfie exclaimed, ” I will never again walk away on my own without my Mama and Papa! I promise!’

The family skipped happily back to their wolf home through the trees and flowers in the forest and lived happily ever after!
