The Amish are a group of traditional Christian church scholarships.

Amish are known for simply living, simple dress and reluctance to embrace many of the conveniences of modern technology.

The Amish live at Pennsylvania and more countries in North America.

Their villages spread across 22 countries.

They live in their own communities, most of them are agricultural, but they live with pepole that are not from the Amish.

Their origin is from Germany and Switzerland.

Until the 17th century the Amish were part of the Menonites.

Their lifestyle:

most of the Amish men are farmers. The agricultural farm is without modern technology.

the Amish women manage the household and take care of the children.

The youth spend their time in sport game. They are not allowed to use the enternet, watch TV and to hear music.

For the Amish, face to face conversation, is the best way to spend time with your family.

Their main hallmark is black garments and black hat for the men and long dresses for the women,  the men don’t have a mustache and have long baerds.

The amish transportation is carried with horses and carriage only.

The Amish kids used to go to regular schools, but the only way to arrive school was by bus. They had to build their own educational institutions. The children learn at school until age 13, and then they go to work at the farm.

They believe the technology distrubing the worship of God , so they don’t use it.

They don’t have a prayer house, when they want to worship god, they meet in one of the barns.

The Amish picked that way of life because they prefer the natural and peaceful life with their family, insted of noisy and modern life.
