Amish are a cult founded in 1693 by Jacob Aman.

Amish originated in Switzerland and Germany, where the community was  and persecuted by the political and political establishment

The Amish are a group of traditional Christian Church.

Amish families and communities live in a more primitive lifestyle than the surrounding culture.

They believe large families are a blessing from God.

Amish rules allow marrying only between members of the Amiss Church and they don’t divorce.

Amish women wear modest dresses with long sleeves and a full skirt.

They never cut their hair, which they wear in a bun on the back of the head.

Married women wear a white prayer covering on their head and single women wear a black one.

Amish women don’t wear jewelry.

Amish men wear dark-colored suits, suspenders, black or straw hats and black socks and shoes.

They don’t have mustaches but they grow beards after they get married.

Their unique clothing separates them from the world and express their faith.

Amish children are educated in their own schools.

In their schools they learn practical skills for their future job and in age 14 they end school.

Most of the old Amish speaks Dutch and Pennsylvania, some Amish who emigrated to the United States in the 1850s to speak the form of a German Burns or a low-spirited alpine dialect.

The Amish worship in their houses, which are designed to allow a large group to meet.

A few typical works that Amish does

Farming, food stand, factory work, etc.

Amish who work for a local employer may walk or ride a bicycle/ a horse / scooter to their workplace.

Those who the work at a more distant location will be taken by a hired driver or non-Amish employee, and that’s because they avoid modern technology.

The Amish people call themselves simple people, People are connected to the work of the land.
They say it’s good for them, without cell phones and no taste of the modern world.

They say they do not want to mingle with the world and that they want to preserve the uniqueness of their cult.
