There are many different types of clouds. They are made of tiny droplets of water.

Cirrus clouds are high clouds they are thin. These clouds appear during good weather.

Cumulus clouds are high clouds. They look like cotton balls.

Cirrostratus clouds are flat clouds that cover the sky. These clouds are usually a signal that it might rain.

Nimbostratus clouds are thick, dark gray and they usually bring rain or snow.
