The Azerbaijani team

Our team gathered information about the cultural aspects of our country, which we  sent to our partner school in Malta . The partner school then made a PowerPoint presentation about the culture of our country.   Each class also made a poster specific to partner country culture.

Azerbaijani students were excited to meet Maltese students and enjoyed the presentation and the poster made by Maltese students.

The Maltese Team

Our students collected information about the Maltese culture and traditions and shared them amongst the Azerbaijan students. The Azerbaijan students shared their cultures and traditions with us too. This was done by using the collaborative tool padlet.

Our students created a presentation showcasing the culture and traditions of Azerbaijan. When doing so, they got to know about their wedding customs, the religion, the food, the heritage and much more. 

Making the actual poster

As the name of the project says Culture in a Poster, our students then created a cardboard poster displaying our partner’s heritage. The students enjoyed every part of this activity. Finally, this was put on the eTwinning notice board of our school.

             OUR WORK

We children of 5th class, have looked at the material sent by our partners.

We have done some researches, some graphic representations and then we have put everything in a presentation.

Later we shared the presentation with our Greek friends.

It was a great experience because we had many materials available: some things we already knew (just in this school year we studied the civilization of the Greeks in history), others we learned in this project.

Code week was really exciting to us, as was the exchange of postcards and, of course, the online meeting!!

We learned so much about Moldavia, our twin team!!

We disseminate our project on the school wall atrium, so everybody can see how we love eTwinning!

We are fourth graders who enjoyed learning about Portugal -a nice country with a lot of wonderful sights and historical monuments.

We could learn nice and useful things about Portugal due to our good partners from Escola Patrício Prazeres.We watched their presentation and analized all the materials they sent and watched the videos they proposed.Moldovan students made an exhibition on the schoolboard and learned about Lisboa and Portugal.The posters they made in the e-Twinning project CULTURE IN A BOX were based on the eassays and researches they made.Another nice experience was the Christmas card exchange in which each student send and got its cards.They could share their traditions.The on line meeting was  the best point of our collaboration.
