How to peel a banana backwards

Oh, Hello, hi there everyone. It’s “Show and tell with Dr. Mel”.

Today I had a funny experience..

(Dr. Mel…)

When I was walking to the studio, everyone was looking at me.

(Dr. Mel…)

I wondered, was it my pink shirt..? he…

They were looking at me as if I had a banana on my head.. I have a banana on my head??

(yes…)

I actually have a banana on my head??

Oh.. he he he…

Iv’e been looking for this banana. Actually I put it on my head, I guess, when I was sleeping. Our program today is about bananas.

But I think I hear a telephone ring.

(Ring ring….)

(Ring ring….)

Hello???

Ahh…

this is not the telephone, excuse me..

Ring ring…

Hello, “Show and tell with Dr. Mel”, this is Dr. Mel.

Ahh…

This is Manny from Manchester that is in England. How are you Manny?

Ahh…

He is watching the program right now and what he wants to know is… can we open a banana from the opposite end?!

I don’t know, Manny, I’ve never tried.

Oh, well,

We always open bananas at this end,

and we eat bananas of course because they are healthy,

they are tasty,

they have minerals, potassium, vitamin B6,

they’re very good for you.

But, we always open bananas from this end.

And Manny from Manchester wants to know whether we can open a banana from the other end.

I don’t know.

Let’s do an experiment!

An experiment is when we want to find out something new.

You shouldn’t do experiments without your parents watching.

And, well, what do you say? Let’s give it a try!

Well, I don’t know, we will try open that bag…

he he!!! So far so good..

he he he he!!! he he!!!!!!

This isn’t bad at all, this is actually fun, opening a banana in the opposite direction.

Let’s see what happens now…

Look at that!!! Out comes the banana!! 

Ha ha ha!!!!

Mmm…

I love bananas…
