During the week of August 12th-18th my husband Dave and I went on vacation to Ohio. The place we visited that we had the most fun at was Newport Aquarium.
Here is a link to there web page.

While there we visited many touch tanks. One was Discover stingrays – one of the ocean’s most mysterious animals – from above and below the water’s surface and even have the opportunity to touch them.
The Stingray Hideaway is a favorite spot for everyone. I was not sure about touching a stingray but I was brave a touched the stingrays. Here is a video of the exhibit.

I think the younger children were more brave than I was.
I was brave again when I crossed the Shark Bridge.
Over Two Million Thrill-Seekers Have Dared to Cross Shark Bridge!
For thrill-seekers that dare to cross, Shark Bridge is the world’s first suspended rope bridge where guests can walk just inches above more than a dozen sharks, shark rays and other ocean animals. This V-shaped rope bridge is 75-feet long and is suspended over the open water of the 385,000 gallon Surrounded by Sharks exhibit.
We also got the opportunity to have an up close encounter with penguins.
We saw some little animals like this small yellow seahorse.
We also saw some very big fish. Like this one who posed for a picture with my husband Dave.
