Who Could Ever Forget Frank Loesser?

Frank Loesser was one of the greatest songwriters who ever lived. I say this because he wrote both the words and music for most of his famous songs. And in particular for the musical “Guys and Dolls”.

He was a musical prodigy yet never finished high school or college. His father died young and he had to work at a variety of jobs, including singer. Like Cole Porter, he suffered many difficulties and failures before he broke in with a successful song.
