In Northern January
In northern January
My polar bear
Covers himself up in a blanket of snow
Although I send him
Carriages full of sun
He prefers to close his eyes.
Even when I pull his fur
He hides his heart
And doesn’t let me
Steal a beat.

January
Wet, and shiny,
Moody sea,
Soft and angry clouds
A bit of purple
Endless green
Strawberry desires
Smells of misty
Wake up calls
Sweet and sour
Thoughts.
4
January to December
Two white pelicans
Are talking love
From the beginning
Of January
To the end
Of December
They have no use
For Valentine’s Day.😊
6
The Birds of February
The birds of February
Are searching for a gold coin
In the brown river
Which the sun threw in
Before she turned off the light.
8
March is Coming
March is coming
On a bicycle
Full of flowers
He has the smile of a naughty boy
Escaping from school
He knows by heart
How to open
The doors.
10
April Moon
There is a full moon
And a full glass of wine
And a foolish heart.
Tell me a fairy tale tonight.
12
April Spreads
April
Spreads the white hair of winter
He lights colors
And aromas in the fields
He plays with the bees
Till they melt into
Honey at his feet.
He steals your heart
And slips
Away.
14
The Rain of May
The Rain of May
Comes like
A postcard
From a faraway country
Takes off
A Summer
Undershirt,
And moistens the heart.
16
Here Comes May
Here comes May
He has thirty-one arrows
To go wild
He takes me to the fields
And turns me into a drunken butterfly
Among his thousand flowers
He swears that he’ll be faithful
For a full month
18
And I
Don’t mind
Running after him
For just one single arrow.

19
June is Waiting for me
June is waiting for me
Just around the corner
He knows‪ that he is my month
More than any other month
He’ll take me to the sea
Color me ‪in turquoise
And dress me
In the most beautiful seashells
He knows we both will get drunk
Forgetting the winter
22
We’ll run barefoot
On honey sands
Losing the horizon
Behind
He’ll dance with me
Fiery as fire
Every night that he has
And leave a full moon
In my palm
Before he goes
Away.
23
In June
How come
You set the seasons
For me
Rain clouds fill my heart
In June
And in winter
You send me
A bouquet of swallows
Moving off with a promise
For tomorrow.
26
June
Winter,
   Sneaks up
       Like a lover,
            Leaving
                 The smell
                        Of its rain
               On the t- shirt
                                          Of
                       June.

On the July Train
We met one night on the July train
You were holding a helium moon
In your hand
“We have two or three stations together”
you say,”And a little bit of a sea”
And when you asked me to dance
You whispered butterfly words
To die of their beauty
To die
30
Then the engine stopped
Between the winter rails
And a strawberry field
That disappeared
I went down holding just a
Smiling thread
Having touched for a moment
The perfect eternity.
31
July in London
July in London
Lightning and thunders
Smells of a distant winter
That broke off his handcuffs
And invaded
Drunk with longing
To conquer back his land
While she is lying
In the lusting arms of
Summer.
34
In August
You can’t stay dry
When suddenly
There is a rain in August
Sweeping away your heart
Like a leaf
On an unknown journey.
Let it catch and lose
A bolt of lightning
Let it cry and tremble thunder
Let it fall.
36
September is HereÂ
September is here
Wearing a hat and a jacket
His pockets are full of autumn leaves
And longing scents
He is holding a gray umbrella
Made of clouds
And spreading his spell appeal
All over
Perhaps I will fall
in love.
38
On September’s Sidewalk
Slowly my heart gives in
To the infiltrator Autumn
And makes a space
For the blowing leaves
On September’s sidewalk
And to the wind that escapes
from the summer hands
To reach the lowest place
That there is.
40
October erasing the summer
October
Erasing the summer footsteps
The sea that we once collected
The words that we whispered
In our eyes
He scatters migratory birds
In the park
And I
Become
One of them.
42
November scent
In another city
November scent is
Full of cinnamon and longing
Beauty is walking barefoot
Wandering in colorful sparkling streets
I am drinking a short espresso
And a long Ouzo
While he
Puts a spell
On me.
44
December
December
Descends on the stairs
Of the winter
His stubble – thorns
His eyes are dark
Scent of rain
On his neck
A sleeping rose
On the lapel of his coat
And his rough hands
Are full of passion
46
He promises me
An enchanted storm
If only I have
The courage
To surrender.
47
It’s the end of December
It’s the end of December
And I don’t know
Whether to wait for the sea
To fill the empty shells
Or to search for others
On the beach
Of next
Year.
50
It’s the end of the year
The flamboyant tree
Offers its last red kisses
And I don’t know
Whether to wait for it
To bloom again
Or let January
Take me down
Another
Road.
