THE SPLIT CHERRY TREE

After that, Dave was worried because he was late for his work at his father’s farm. He ran as fast as he can without looking his feet where to stamp. He came, with deadly eyes of his father. Pa started to ask where he went go because its already nighttime. In Dave’s mine, He wants to lie but the problem will be bigger so that, he told the truth, that he broke down the split cheery tree with the boys.

They fed the cattle, they had a supper then Dave was worried because his father said to him that he will go to school with his gun. He can’t sleep for his destructive thoughts. After a long sleep, He woke up, fed the cattle, did the farm works. After that, Pa and Dave were ready to go to his school. After they came, Dave saw Professor Herbert came to the gate and Pa went to him with his naked gun. He told why he should spend his time for the school.

Professor answered him that he broke the cherry tree, he don’t want to pay cash but he only paid time for work. Pa agreed then he saw that the students were looking at their place, starring.

Pa and Professor became friends. Professor taught Pa what is germs all about and the black snake. Pa answered that the black snakes were really helpful in his farm because it catches mice and mules. After that, Dave was spending his time for sweeping the floor, Pa stared at his place. Then, Herbert said to Dave that he should went home with his father but Pa refused. Pa also helped Dave cleaning the rooms.

After a day, Pa said to his son that he should pay his debt for his mistakes.
