ABOUT ME

I am Zara Mkparu, a 11 year old girl that as spent about 7 years at CIS. My favourite subject is science and I love chemistry.

MY INTERESTING TIME AT CIS

        It all started for me in reception, in 2011, I really liked my class and I really liked my teacher too- Mrs Eskwera. I very clear memory I can remember from reception is one day we were learning letters with this game called letterland (it was so much fun) and to move on we each needed to complete that task. Now, about year 5. Year 5 was really a blow out!! I won National Champion for gymnastics!!!!!!! 

SUPERB SCIENCE

        This subject was really amazing for me! learning about blood and it’s compents to finding out about blood types. Another topic a enjoyed was drug misuse, studying about the effects of smoking aided me a whole lot when we covered this matter.

NUMBERS IN NUMERACY

       In numeracy I have done so very much and performed well in assessments. I can recall one time that I got a 40 out of 44 in a numeracy assessment and got a….DONUT a sweet sweet donut!!!! I remember when I had problems with Numeracy but I got lessons and paid more attention in class till I finally made an improvement.

LOVELY LITERACY

        I had a rocky start with Literacy at first, moving groups and my writing, but when I moved to Mrs Ibrahim;s group I told myself that I will move back to the highest group. Being the very very very very DETERMINED person I am this goal is not difficult. I even got an Exceeding in my persuasive speech. 

MY CLASSMATES

MOMO: Zaera, even though I’m going to see you next year, I’m going to miss you and your ‘cray cray’ personality. I’m still better at ROBLOX than you! Love, the ORIGINAL Anika

MY FABULOUS WIN!!!!!

        In year five I rewarded with the title in gymnastics…NATIONAL CHAMPION!!!!!!! It was such a FABULOUS moment that I have cherished the event forever!!!! Everything in my routine I made it look effortless. My mum also came with me to the competition and was but still is very supportive with all her cheering and waving! The list CAN go on!!!!!!!!

COBIS

Another goal I have achieved in my primary years at C.I.S was COBIS. We trained early mornings(5:50 7:15) and after school(3:00 p.m to 4:30 p.m). It was very intense but we pulled through and came…. SECOND!! Kika was my roommate and we had some crazy experiences.
