This book was made because Miss Rice is a very dynamic teacher, and she wants everyone learn in a different way. In this semester all her students in this class read three books. The last one was our choice, so how I love suspense and action stories I chose The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. I hope you like this story because I read this novel in three days.

Two quotes from the book:
I decided to use the last chapter to choose this quotations because in this chapter Dr. Jekyll explained what was really happening in his life. All the mystery of the book unravels in the last chapter.
Dr. Jekyll wrote “I had reached this stage when my laboratory experiments began to throw light on the matter. I began to realize, more deeply than anyone has yet stared” (Stevenson, 49).
In my opinion, this is very important because the doctor was trying to explain to his friend the lawyer why he did that experiment and why he continued until the end.
Dr Jekyll wrote “this guilty despair was followed by a sense of joy, because the problem of my double life was solved. Hyde was impossible” (Stevenson, 56).
I believe that he decided to do the right thing because he admitted that he had a double life and a big problem with this. The evil person inside him wanted to go out, and the doctor was losing the control of it.
Recommendation:
This is a classic book, so I think everyone should read it. I recommend this book because it is a story when you can find details of a different age from yours. In this story, they had no electricity or cars, so they walk and enjoy every morning. It is interesting know how they lived with things that we have now. Things that for us are normal, and we do not paid attention to that kind of things.
As always it is a pleasure take a class with you Miss Rice.
Thanks for your patient and dedication.
