Nezihe Osman Atay Primary School is located in Şehitkamil which is one of the counties of city Gaziantep. There are 4 directors, 53 teachers and 1381 students in our school.
At Nezihe Osman Atay Elementary school; one of the important goal is rising, in the lead of Turkish National Education goals and principles, citizens who have universal values and teaching the young generations the way to learn the life. We are here for raising individuals who are peace at themselves, know their own interests and abilities, gain the abilities to get success in life, self-ordained and take on responsibility of their decisions.
In accordance with Turkish National Education we aim;
- a) To develop the interests and abilities of students and prepare them to the secondary school,
- b) To infuse Ataturk’s Principles and Revolutions to students, to teach how to exercise the rights properly according to the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, Human Rights, Children Rights and International Conventions, to bring students in to respect other people’s rights
- c) To provide them to get know, respect and embrace to their own cultural and universal values
- d) To raise students who make positive contributions to their family, society and environment; who are peace at themselves and their environment, who make good relationships with other people and cooperate with them, who are decent to other people and know to share, who are honest and happy citizens
- e) To help students to develop themselves at cultural, sportive, artistic, educational, scientific activities and help students to embrace national and universal cultural values and help to students to spread them
- f) To get students adopt the habit that to know the personal and social issues and how to solve them
- h) To provide a versatile development with combining the skills of students and their mental work.

Yes,I had one more before. It’s about learning can be fun with fairytales. I also got QL with it. It is about that stories and fairy tales are a way for children to understand real life and learn about values. Through them, they can express themselves in various ways. The idea is to give them that chance. In the same time; this project is about seasons and cultural activities. We want to involve 9-11 years old students around Europe in an exchange of traditional letters with topics about four seasons in their towns and countries, different habits, festivals at schools, etc. and encourage them to learn English doing some interesting activities, practice their writing and reading skills, show them connection between learning at school and real life. All topics will be issued online via web 2.0 tools. We are going to record videos, take photos, create presentations, logos, posters, blogs, play online quizes, have video conferences, share materials on Twinspace and evaluate the project. There are so many differences in a good way.

Yes,I had one more before. It’s about learning can be fun with fairytales. I also got QL with it. It is about that stories and fairy tales are a way for children to understand real life and learn about values. Through them, they can express themselves in various ways. The idea is to give them that chance. In the same time; this project is about seasons and cultural activities. We want to involve 9-11 years old students around Europe in an exchange of traditional letters with topics about four seasons in their towns and countries, different habits, festivals at schools, etc. and encourage them to learn English doing some interesting activities, practice their writing and reading skills, show them connection between learning at school and real life. All topics will be issued online via web 2.0 tools. We are going to record videos, take photos, create presentations, logos, posters, blogs, play online quizes, have video conferences, share materials on Twinspace and evaluate the project. There are so many differences in a good way.

Part 1: Identification

Nezihe Osman Atay Primary School is located in Şehitkamil which is one of the counties of city Gaziantep. There are 4 directors, 53 teachers and 1381 students in our school.
At Nezihe Osman Atay Elementary school; one of the important goal is rising, in the lead of Turkish National Education goals and principles, citizens who have universal values and teaching the young generations the way to learn the life. We are here for raising individuals who are peace at themselves, know their own interests and abilities, gain the abilities to get success in life, self-ordained and take on responsibility of their decisions.
In accordance with Turkish National Education we aim;
- a) To develop the interests and abilities of students and prepare them to the secondary school,
- b) To infuse Ataturk’s Principles and Revolutions to students, to teach how to exercise the rights properly according to the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, Human Rights, Children Rights and International Conventions, to bring students in to respect other people’s rights
- c) To provide them to get know, respect and embrace to their own cultural and universal values
- d) To raise students who make positive contributions to their family, society and environment; who are peace at themselves and their environment, who make good relationships with other people and cooperate with them, who are decent to other people and know to share, who are honest and happy citizens
- e) To help students to develop themselves at cultural, sportive, artistic, educational, scientific activities and help students to embrace national and universal cultural values and help to students to spread them
- f) To get students adopt the habit that to know the personal and social issues and how to solve them
- h) To provide a versatile development with combining the skills of students and their mental work.
- i) To groove student who advanced individual, creativity and aesthetic feelings, self confident, promoter, using technology, effectively working plan
- j) To introduce jobs, find out students, interest and ability and personality characteristics.
- k) The training self fulfilling students with social cultural and educational activities owing to be applied methods and techniques.
- l) The training students like responsible to family and community, productive added to the country’s development.
- m) Recognition of nature, like and protection the effects human nature, and impact on future generations, an eco-friendly bring in awareness of native protection.
