1. Create a newscast about school news.

Each group in this project covers a different event in Yeshivat Amit Amichai and reports on it in the newscast.

Some topics to choose from:

• Sports

• Interesting Kodesh or secular lessons worth reporting (for example Bina)

• Interviews

• Safety

• School events

• School trips

• Introduction to creating a newscast

• Choose 2 producers

• Choose the cameramen

• Choose 2 editors

• Divide up the assignments

Homework- Come prepared with the information you want to include in your newscast for next lesson in order to start writing your script

Homework- Those who did not finish writing the first draft, must finish it at home. Come prepared with the first draft, interview questions and background pictures or film clips for the next lesson in order to start editing it.

Homework- Come prepared to film the newscast.  Set up interviews for Wednesday, or do your interviews ahead of time. Bring your props, photos or film clips with you.
