Who are the refugees?

At first, a refugee is a person who has fled armed conflict or persecution and who is recognised as needing of international protection because it is too dangerous for them to return home.

The refugee outlines the basic rights afforded to them. He’s expelled or returned to situations where their life and freedom would be under threat.

Someone has been recognised asa refugee, he given acces to social housing, helped to find a job and integrate into society.

Their is 60 million forcibly displaced people around the world. At the second, States are obligated to claims for asylum and not return asylum seekers to the countrie, they have fled from.

The refugee convention states have a asylum procedures and measures to ensure they live in dignity and safety while their claims are processed. But it is not to be confused with a migrant. A migrant is a person who moves from one place to another in order to live in another country for more than a year.

What are the countries and causes of refugees?

Refugee status is defined and protected in international law. Refugees are outside their country of origin because of a fear of persecution, conflict, violence or other circumstances that have seriously disrupted public order and therefore require “international protection”. But its causes are not the same for a migrant. the reasons for becoming a migrant are diverse, for example migrants who move to work, they call economic migrants. The countries where their is refugees are Syria, Iranian, Jordan, Turkey, Pakistan and Lebanon. Refugees flee their country for several reasons: their families are threatened and their lives are at stake, a religion is imposed on them, and they no longer have freedom and are subjected to the dictatorship of their country’s leaders. They are looking for a better life for yourself and your loved ones. What are the solutions and the victims?

The most frequent victims among refugees are children, adolescents and the elderly: they are the weakest. They often die at sea. The boat can’t accommodate 100 people, so it sinks. Since most refugees cannot swim, they drown. They also die of disease, cold, thirst and hunger.

The solutions for refugees to live in peace are to guarantee the rights and well-being of refugees. This will enable refugees to rebuild their lives in dignity and peace. For that wars must stop.
