“Tommy! Tommy!” Margie ran screaming. “I had the best idea ever!” Tommy looked bored. “what?” he replied, yawning. “We need to create a school of our own, just like in the story! with a human teacher! and all the kids from the neighborhood will come! and your dad can by the teacher!” she skipped in her spot. ” that’s actually a good idea..!” Tommy said, less board. “and I’m sure my dad will agree to teach us but… where? and when?”

At night, Margie couldn’t sleep. she kept thinking about her idea. By morning, she had a plan…

She couldn’t wait to tell Tommy about her plan. Once they met she told him everything. She talked for 20 minutes almost without breathing! She finely stopped, took a deep breath and looked directly at Tommy.  He shook his head and said:” Wow. You are the smartest, most brilliant and the weirdest girl I have ever met. It might actually work!”

So they started working. They decorated the deserted cabin next to the neighborhood, convinced Tommy’s father to teach the kids and hung posters inviting the children to come all over the neighborhood. At last, everything was  ready…

Margie, Tommy and Tommy’s father were the “school”  they waited.
