Menashe Kadishman

Menashe Kadishman was born in August 21st 1932.

He died in May 8th ,2015.

When he was 15 , his father died. Upon joining the IDF ,he joined a “nahal” unit that was established at that time .

As a child, he worked as a shepherd and that influenced his works.

He lives in TEL AVIV.

Menashe Kadishman became a very famous artist – a painter and a sculptor, in many of his works there are sheep.
