Frog, Where Are You?

One day, there was a boy Yusi who had a dog and a frog, the frog’s home was a large jar in his bedroom.

One night while Yusi and the dog were sleeping the frog climbed out of the jar.

Next morning, when the sleepers woke up, they looked at their friend and found that the jar was empty.

yYusi went haywire and looked everywhere for the frog, the dog looked too, and when he tried to look in the jar he got his head stuck.

Then, Yusi called out the open window,” Frog, where are you?” And the dog looked out with the jar on his head.

The dog fell out of the window on his head.

Yusi jumped out of the window to make sure that the dog is ok, the dog was not hurt but the jar has been smashed.

They looked outside and called for the frog.

He looked down a hole in the ground while the dog barked at some bees in a beehive.

A squirrel suddenly appeared of the hole and bit Yusi on his nose. Meanwhile, the dog was still bothering the bees, jumping up on the tree and barking at them.

The beehive fell down and all of the bees flew out, the bees were angry at the dog. Yusi wasn’t paying attention to the dog, he had noticed a large hole in a tree so he climbed out the tree and looked down the hole.

An owl sudden swooped out of the hole and knocked Yusi to the ground. But the dog ran away from the angry bees.

The owl chased Yusi all the way to a large rock.

He climbed up the rock and called for his frog, he held onto some branches.

The branches weren’t really branches! They were deer picked up the boy on his head.

The deer started running with Yusi still on his head. The dog ran along too. They were getting close to a cliff.

The deer stopped suddenly so Yusi and the dog fell over the edge of the cliff.

There was a pond below the cliff. they fell on.

They heard a sound.

Yusi told the dog to be quiet.

They crept up and looked behind a big log.

There they found Yusi’s frog that had a mother frog with him.

They had some baby frogs and one of them jumped towards Yusi.

The baby frog liked the boy and wanted to be his new pet. Yusi and the dog were happy to have a new frog to take home. As they walked away Yusi waved and said “goodbye” to his old frog and his family.
