On his 11 birthday, Hagrid (famous magician) told him that he is a famous magician on the Wizarding World, because he survived the murderous attack of the Dark Magician Lord Voldemort. Voldemort murder Harry’s perents, and he threw a curse on Harry that left a scar in the shape of lighting on his forehead.
Harry was invited to Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardy

The sorcerer’s stone is a stone that give u immortality, so Voldemort looking for the stone whole the movie but finially at the end of the movie Harry findes the sorcerer’s stone and save the world from Voldemort.
