All My Sons – A Superior Ending

After the family hears of Larry’s death and everyone is surprised.

Chris looks at Joe as if he knows he’s guilty

but Joe doesn’t give the look Chris had wanted back.

Joe looks mad more than guilty and

He’s surprised by Chris’ reaction.

Chris: You’ve killed Larry. You’re the reason he died.

Joe: It’s not my fault that your brother is just as weak as you.

Chris: How could you say such a thing? Larry gave his life for you, for everyone.

Joe: Everything I’ve done was done for the family. Especially for you.

Chris: You do not understand what you’ve done. I’m going to the police.

Joe picks up the gun and points it towards Ann.

Joe: You’re not going anywhere.

Chris looks panicked.

Chris: Ok dad. Calm down. I’ll do as you say.

Joe looks at Ann and starts speaking to her.

Joe: I always knew you were trouble.

Keller looks as if he has nothing to lose.

*Black screen*

*Gunshot*

Chris screams: No!

There is blood all over the table as we see Joe falling on the ground.

Mother holds a gun.

Mother: He killed my son and he won’t take my other son too.

Joe starts mumbling as he is dying on the floor.

Joe: Chris, I know it’s my fault. I know it. I have done terrible things.

I was just afraid of admitting it. I just tried to do good for the family and

I don’t deserve seeing you and Ann get married. You have my blessing.

Chris starts crying and hugs Joe whilst he looses conscious.

Chris: He might not have been the best man, but he was a good dad.
