Mr. Know-All

The story took place on a ship shortly after WW1(World War 1). Due to a little amount of cabins on the ship, the narrator had to share a cabin with Max Kelada.

The ship was traveling from San Francisco, USA to Yokohoma, Japan, a trip that was 14 days long. The narrator disliked his roommate, Max Kelada and thought he wasn’t British enough.

A day after he lost the bet, Max Kelada got an envelope with a 100 dollar bill. He admitted that he lost the bet on purpose and the narrator didn’t entrely dislike Max Kelada at this moment.
