all the passengers were sitting around the tables, talking, but I noticed two men, one of them looked very pissed, like he is not sitting with the right people, he looked British.
the other one looked middle eastern, he was showing him card tricks happily.
Later on, I found out that this middle eastern man, who turned out to be British is named Mr. Kelada, people on the ship called him Mr.know all, he was chatty and argumentative, but I thought he was an interesting man, not like all the rest on this ship.
I am not a judgmental person, I never rush out to say my opinion about people, I thought a lot about what I think of Ms. Kelada, something about him felt real and interesting.
One evening, at dinner, i heard a loud argument between Mr. Kelada and a guy named Mr. Ramsay, apparently the were arguing about pearls, Mrs.Ramsay’s pearl necklace.
Mr. Kelada said they were real, and Mr. Ramsay said they were fake.
I noticed that Mrs. Ramsay was really stressed during the argument like she was hiding something.
although she looked cute and modest, I’ve never trusted that woman.
They kept arguing until they decided to have a bet on 100$ about the pearls.
Mr. Kelada was so certain, but something made him change his mind.
I saw his face when he decided to say he was wrong, he was making a lot of effort and his hands were shaking as he handed a 100$ to Mr. Ramsay.
I also saw Mrs. Ramsay’s face, she was definitely relieved like she didn’t want her necklace to be real.
Right after, I heard Mrs. Ramsay saying she had headache, got up and went to her stateroom.
Something seemed really suspicious to me.
I was walking down the hallway to my room, I saw Mrs. Ramsay there although her room is not even on this floor, she was putting money in a letter.
She slipped the money under a door, I guessed it was Mr. Kelada’s room.
“before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean”
after today, that will be a sentence i’m going to stick to for the rest of my life, Mr. Ramsay was so busy making Mr. Kelada look wrong, he even didn’t saw the mistakes his “modest” wife was making.
