Ohh my dear journal. I am so excited.
Few hours ago me and my husband had started our journey from US to Japan. So I had to leave my house In New York.
On board I met a lot of passengers. one of the prominent person I met today is Mr.Kelada.
I was very impressed from his knowledge! the problem is that Mr. Kelada and my husband argue all the time on any subject!
Today I chose to wear my new pearls necklace which I got from Henry, my secret lover, a few days before I left New- York. I told my husband that I bought this necklace from a shop for 18 dollars. I never imagined that one chain would cause so many problems.
When me and my husband came to the eating table Mr. Kelada and other people have already sat there.
The food was really good. But I guessed that there is another argue which is going to start.
My dear journal. Let me tell you some things on my husband. First of all, he is really fat. but he is also funny and good person. He works in the Consular service in New York. My husband is really dogmatic, so I tries to Avoid arguing with him.
The Doctor Bring the theme of the pearls to the table. So Mr. Kelada or simply has my husband call him Mr. Know- All
started to tell us everything he knows about it. He told us that he is business man Who deals with pearls. An argue over the authenticity of me pearls started between Mr. Kelada and my husband who is Innocent.
What happened was that Mr. Kelada told my husband that the pearls in my chain were original and woryh a lot of money (Thirty thousand) and my husband said they were fake and told him that I bought it for 18 dollars. So my husband suggested that they will make a bet of $ 100. and Mr. kelada agreed.
I was shocked. I did not know what to do. How the topic of the conversation became my pearls. I became nervous and felt as if I were about to faint. I tries to change the subject of the conversation and pulled the chain into my dress.
I tried to persuade my husband to give up about doing a bet but without success. Instead my husband asked me to take off the chain and deliver it to Mr Kelasa. I pretended I could not get the chain off but my husband volunteered to help me. He took off the chain and handed it to Mr. Kelada. I felt helpless and stared at Mr. Kelda desperately, hoping that he would understand and pray for a miracle. What will happen if my husband finds out I lied to him ?!
To my surprise, Mr. Kelda understood me and chose to help me. He sacrificed his reputation to keep mine. I have no doubt that he is a good person, a man of values. I was saved. But now I feel bad. All the passengers on the ship laugh at him, that Mr. knows who thinks he’s know everything was wrong. even though he was right and I hope he knows it I felt sorry for him. I have to thank him for what he did for me and show him that he was really right
After Mr. Kelda lost the bet and gave my husband 100 dollars, I decided to take an envelope to put in a hundred dollars and slip it under the door of his room. On the envelope I wrote to Max Kelada and disappeared before anyone noticed. I know Mr. Kelada knew it was me and that was enough for me. So I can thank him for his kindness.
