My Trip Through the Water Cycle

My journey began in the vast, dark  Atlantic ocean. I was just one water molecule out of a quadrillion!

The ocean was my home for the majority of my life. Then one day, heat energy suddenly caused me to evaporate and join a cloud.

I wasn’t a cloud for very long though. Soon, I condensed, and gravity pulled me down to the earth in a form of precipitation. I landed on land, so I was surface run off for a brief moment.

Soon, though, I slid down the hill and landed in the Nile River.

My journey wasn’t over yet. I followed the water flow into a Lake Victoria.

Then, I evaporated again and fell as rain back into the ocean.
