Once upon a time…

This book is about a story that happened in the past.

Most of the verbs in the story are in Past Simple.

The Beatles arrived at Pepperland with Captain Fred in the Yellow Submarine.

They played music and sang songs, and that hurt the Blue Meanies and brought the people of Pepperland back to life.

The Blue Meanies ran away, and all the people in Pepperland were happy again.
