Once upon a time there were two brothers that were addition and subtraction.Addition always thought he was better than subtraction.But subtraction always thought he was better than addition.

The two brothers had a fight, which was, who made the word problem with the higher sum or difference.They made a deal that they would do the fight the next day.

So now they started the fight, so addition did the sentence 500+3450=3,950.But subtraction did 4,000-150=3,950.They were equal so no one won so they became friends again.

So then they realized that addition can make a bigger sum because addition adds up so Subtraction said “fine” and agreed that addition is better than him.
