EXT. DECK OF A SHIP – DAWN – FOGGY

After being banished for many years, Klorox Ahole comes back to his home country, Tespir, land of the dwarves. Klorox gets on the deck, and sees his mother leaning against the rail, nostalgic about her past life.

Klorox

How are you holding up?

Eva

I’ve spent almost all my life on this wretched isle, you already know the fuckin’answer.

Klorox

I know but…

Eva (furious)

I was raped on several occasions, raised in shit, and had to sell my body to the street to be able to raise you! And now you ask to come back to this nightmare of a place, and be fine with it?!

Eva tries to take back her breath. Klorox waits a while until Eva calms down.

Klorox

You know we had no choice, after what you’ve done. You should maybe think twice before slicing the throat of a client.

Eva tries to find a way to answer back, but gives up. Two drunken sailors burst in and start singing joyfully.

Sailor n°1 (laughing)

Weh hey… and up she rises (burp) early in…

Sailor °1 stumbles on his mate, and points at Eva

Hey look, they look so cute with their teeny tiny legs! Imagine one of them, running towards you!

Eva hears the insults and she doesn’t take them lightly. She rolls up her sleeves, and runs. The two sailors are laughing their guts out, and can barely stand properly. Eva grabs them by the bollocks and throws them off board.

The fog fades away, and gives place to the island of Tespir. The two protagonists are amazed by the view; they gaze at the small industrial town in which they both grew up. The dirtiness of the place didn’t seem to have changed, the docks is the pride of city and still remains the cleanest and healthiest place. The industrial chimneys give birth to a dark cloud, soaked in coal and pollution. At the top of the cliff, the castle of king Alf watches over the harbor. Klorox suddenly glances at a burning pile of dead bodies. Klorox looks astonished.

Klorox

Oh my…

Eva (approaching Klorox)

I wanted to keep you away from this deadly plague, for your own good.

Klorox

When did this all started?

Eva

I guess now I can’t hide you anything. When you were only a child, a curse invaded our peaceful land, it spread like wildfire. I saw it grow on my closest friend. It starts with a fever, along with convulsions. A few days later, black infected spots starts appearing everywhere. When you have them, you can’t stop scratching yourself, until you reach the bones, and your nails are filled with your own blood and skin. And only then, you succumb to the illness called Ipsen. Words on the streets says it, might have been the King who has made a pact with blood elves, to inspire fear in the eyes of the people and gain more power.

Klorox (with empathy)

It’s horrible, you should have told me earlier… If most of the people think that the king is responsible for all this, why didn’t anyone try something?

Eva

It’s not as easy as it seems, he’s well protected. If you want to make a coup you are not brave, you’re just dumb and you’ll get yourself killed.

Klorox

At least I’ll die for something!

Eva

For fuck’s sake, you’re as reckless as your father, and you bloody already know how it ended.

Klorox

And like him, I’ll go down in History.

Eva starts crying. Klorox stays on the high ground and doesn’t go to his mother. One of Klorox’s mates signals that they arrived at the wharf. Klorox nods at him and looks at his mother and thinks before leaving. He jumps off the boat.

Klorox

Let’s build a revolution.
