Once upon a time, a fox walked in the forest and saw a crow sitting on a tree.

The crow had a nice piece of cheese in her beak. The fox wanted the cheese. “I’m sure I’m smart enough to trick this bird.” thought the fox.

“What a beautiful bird I see on the tree!” cried the fox to the crow.

“Oh! Miss. Crow! What an amazing beauty! What neat feathers! Your voice must be beautiful too!”

“If the other animals will hear your voice I’m sure they will call you the queen of all birds.”

The crow was so flattered by all the things the fox said that she opened her beak and cried “caw caw” to show the fox her voice.

But when she cried the cheese fell and the fox took it and disappeared…
