If it rains tomorrow, we will stay at home.

Condition 2
We use the second condition to describe an imaginary situation in the present, or to give an advice.
Examples:
If I won the lottery, I would travel around the world.
If I were you, I would go to sleep early the night before a test.
The conditional clause will be in Past Simple.
We will use would or any other modal in the main clause.

Note: we will use “were” for third person singular only in the second conditional.
