The use – الاستعمال

* we use the present simple to talk about habits and facts.

يستعمل المضارع البسيط للتكلم عن عادات او حقائق * .

The form – الصيغة

subject + verb +  s / es / ies  + time expressions . 

*************************************************************************************

* I    play  tennis  every  day .

* He   plays  tennis  every  day . 

* She   plays  tennis  every  day  .

* It   plays  tennis  every  day  .

* You   play  tennis  every  day . 

* We   play  tennis  every  day . 

* They   play  tennis  every  day .

( I  ,  You  ,  We  ,  They)  + verb + rest of sentence .

( He  ,  She  ,  It )  + verbs + rest of sentence .

Spelling Rules

* If the verb ends with ( ch , sh , ss , x , o , z ) we add es to the verb .

watch —– watches , go —– goes .

* If the verb ends with    cousenant + y    we change the y to i and add es to the verb .

study —– studies , fly —– flies .

* اذا انتهى الفعل بالأحرف ( ch , sh , ss , x , o , z)نضيف للفعل es.

*اذا انتهى الفعل بحرف ساكن + y نحول ال y ل i ونضيف للفعل es .

The negative

* the form negative ( I , You , We , They )

Subject + don’t + verb + rest of the sentence .

* the form negative ( He , She , It)

Subject + doesn’t + verb + rest of the sentence .

Yes/No  Qustion

* Form the yes/no question ( I , You , We , They )

Do + subject + verb + rest of sentence + ?

* Form the yes/no question ( He , She , It )

Does + subject + verb + rest of sentence + ?

Wh word Question

في أسئلة wh question نكتب السؤال وكأنه سؤال yes/no question ثم نضيف wh word . أما بالنسبة ل who يكتب السؤال بدون ال Do أو Does .
