Becoming a Big Sister

On February 13th 2010 my cousin Natalie had her first birthday party.

At the time my mom was 35 weeks pregnant with twins.

Towards the end of the party, my mom went into labor.

My mom told my dad. He said that we would go to the hospital after he finished his card game.

At the hospital I impatiently waited for my little sisters to be born.

Khloe was born first. She weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces.

Karli was born eight minutes later. She weighed 5 pounds 7 ounces.

Although Khloe weighed more, she ended up in the NICU for a couple days.

Karli on the other hand, was perfectly healthy.

I cried when I first saw my new little sisters. I had grown up an only child and I absolutely hated it. My dream of having siblings finally came true.

Khloe is a now tough little wrestler.

Karli likes to spend her time being a mermaid.
