True, creativity is a genetic trait and is closely associated with facial symmetry, an indication of good genetics [1].

Creative types score higher on happiness scales as compared to less creative controls [2].

Humans with higher levels of Neanderthal DNA also score higher in creativity tests [3]. This may not be surprising in light of new findings that Neanderthals practiced rituals 186,000 years ago and had bigger brain than Homo sapiens.

People who are creative are able to concentrate and filter out disruptive signals. In one study, a higher proportion of creative people were color blind as compared with a control group [4].

Clever chimpanzees who can count to five mate 48% more frequently than less clever siblings.

In another study adults who scored higher on creativity tests had salaries that were 26% higher than average scoring people [6].

Creative people also have a higher affinity towards ice-cream and other self-gratifying sweets [7,8]]

In one questionnaire, over 62% of the people who self-reported that they were creative said that they thought that Paul was dead. Among these, almost half (46%) thought that his replacement is an alien [9].

Get it? Everyone makes wrong assumptions. Everyone lies. Including scientists and clergy. And many creative people like to tell stories. Like the one about orange kazoos flying through outer space.

Creative people, are, above all, DOUBTERS!!!!!!!! (Oh, and great storytellers too…)

They are always making observations and asking questions. They are curious about a lot of things. They believe that everything can be doubted and disrupted. And they have no trouble doubting the ‘right’ answer.
