The book tells about SILAS MARNER a weaver who Subjected to severe abuse and betrayal from a friend it prompted him to leave the city and move to a nice village called raveloe to live there all by him self , not worrying about people or meeting them and the people around him looking at him with suspicion .

The only thing that he cared about was saving gold .

But someday all the gold has been stolen , he thought he lost every thing that he loved and worked for .

Until he met a little girl after her mom’s death (who was addicted to drugs) and he loved her more than the stolen gold and over the days he just loved her more and more and she become the most important person in the world for him and she transformed him from an isolated sad old man to the happiest person in the world.

The moral of the book
The point that the person can not live a completely isolated independent life in our modern society which the dynamic area where people define the destinies of each other whether it was happy or sad.
Also we have to distinguish between the real and the fake people in our lives because we will face people who pretend that they love us and at the end they will betray us , just get rid of them at the right way and surround your self with the things and the people that you love!.
