Thirteen year-old Harry Potter has reluctantly spent yet another summer with Dursley – his relatives. However, behaved like and not practicing any magic.

It was until Aunt Marge – Uncle Vernon’s sister, came up with a visit. She has always been particularly horrible

to Harry but this time she has gone too far, he accidentally turned her into a balloon and made that she

flew into space.

Feeling the fear of punishment from his Aunt and Uncle  

(And repercussions from Hogwarts and the Ministry of Magic, which strictly forbids students from using magic in the ordinary world) Harry escapes into the night.

He is immediately taken by the Knight Errant – fantastic triple-decker purple vehicle that whisks him off to the

Leaky Cauldron pub.

Upon arrival, Harry meets the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge,

who inexplicably does

not punish him for magic tricks. Harry sleeps in a pub and later returns to Hogwarts for a

third year of science.

Harry soon learns that a dangerous and enigmatic wizard, Sirius Black, escaped from Azkaban prison and is likely to be searched for. The legend has it that Black was leading Lord Voldemort to Harry’s parents, thereby contributing to their death. What’s more – the wizard wants also to kill Harry.

To make matters worse, Hogwarts is playing host to the Dementors, the terrifying Azkaban guards,

who came to school to protect students from Black. Dementors who suck the souls from their victims, and – unfortunately for Harry –  seem to have an impact greater than the other students. Fortunately, the new Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts teaches Harry

the Patronus spell.

Besides, the third year of study expires Harry goes on exploring exciting new creatures like hippogryf Hardodziób,

magical half-horse, half-eagle, eerie encounters with Divination Professor Sibyll Trelawney and omen of death – Grim, breathtaking adventures, including clandestine visits

to the wizard village of Hogsmeade, deciphering the mysteries of enchanted Marauder’s Map, and a terrifying trip to the Shrieking Shack.

At the same time Harry tries to guess the meaning of the puzzling behavior of Hermione, that appears and disappears. Ron assist him in that and the giant Hagrid, who has taken

a new position as the professor of the Care of Magical s.

Harry’s confrontation with the menacing Sirius Black seems inevitable… but what exactly is Professor Lupin’s relationship with the mysterious criminal?

What dark secret Professor Snape desires to reveal ?

And why the Ron’s rat – Parszywek, wants to get away from him?
