introducing and opening 

hi my name is pat latry i am 11 years old . i live in new york and i like baseball .i go for the yanks.

i just signed up to little league baseball that will start tomorrow i hope iwill be with tom,terry,jack or jacob(my freinds).in the league ther are 30 teams named after mlb teams and country’s. so i will be with the mets or yankees i hope  yanks.

the big day

driinnnng the clock rings and i woke up peacefully waiting for the moment that they annonce the teams.

its time for school pat my mother screams from the downstairs then adds come down and eat your breakfast.

 after breakfast i went to school normally.

i came in the class sat down next to terry.

the teacher comes in saying good morning everybody who watched the big game last night. meeeee answers the whole class.after a few seconds the teacher gave out tests about baseball(see test in next page)

recess

after the test the teacher collected the tests and suddenly dringgg the bell rings for recess.

everyone ran out to play baseball.

the teams were class vs class we were home i started catcher the first batter teddy hit a double the second stroke out on 3 pitches. the third floy out to center and teddy taged up the 3rd.

the 4ourth batter hit a grounder to the short stop tom that fired it to first for an out.

oh i forgot to tell you every recess we do one inning.

so we started the bottom of the first i lead off i hit a single and toke a 3 step lead and toke off it was a wild pitch

so i got 2 bases and the 3 next pitches were a strike so we had one out tom stepped up to bat he floy out and i tagged up to take the lead and the next batter jacob grounded out.

with the yankees is coach roger is terry tom benjamin pat rick steve ted trevor zack yancy simon scott and teddy.

practice

coach roger started off with introducing “hi  my name is roger you can call me coach roger

we are going to start off with batting practice everyone will get 5 pitches and after we will

have fielding practice”.

i came up to bat the 1st pitch i swung and miss.the 2nd i hit a hard grounder to second base.

 the 3rd pitch i hit a foul.the 4ourth pitch i took a swing and bangg the ball went over the fence

we got a good batter here the coach says while delivering the pitch that was a little outside so

i reached for it and delivered a liner down the right field line.

the championship

it was bottom of the 9 the dodgers were winning 4-2 we came up to bat i was in the hole rick was leading off

trevor was on deck and i was in the hole.

rick stepped in the batters box. the dodgers closer started his windup it was a strike swinging so was

the second pitch but the 3rd he smacked a hard grounder pass the shortstop for a singel.trevor stepped up

he let the 1st pitch go for a ball and the next pitch he swung on a pitch that was  outside so trevor ended up

with a 3 in 2 count and he smacked the next pitch for a double that let rick score .

i stepped up the pitcher threw a curve i started to swing bang the ball flew over the center fiels wall.
