It’s hot. The sun is shining. The sky is blue.

Jen lives in Australia. Jen and her friends

are not at college today. It is the weekend.

Jen is on the beach.

She’s standing on the hot sand.

She’s waving to her boyfriend, Rick.

Rick and Jen’s friends are in the sea.

Rick is very happy, he has a new surfboard.

Rick’s favorite sport is surfing.

Rick kisses Jen and goes to surf.

Jen goes to swim and explore the underwater world.

Jen walks along the beach. and gets in to the water.

She dives under the water, swims very quickly.

She gets down and down.

She sees all the fishes and the plants

and they are very beautiful.

Jen swims up to get air, takes a big breath.

She dives down again and swims past a large rock.

And she sees a dolphin. it cannot swim.

The dolphin stuck in a net.

The beautiful dolphin is dying.

The dolphin moves his fins slowly.

It cannot break the net.

Jen pulls the net from the rocks.

And from the dolphin.

The dolphin is free.

The dolphin moves his fins quickly.

It swims up and up.

Jen is very happy, and she tells Rick about the dolphin.

THE NEXT DAY:

It’s hot. The sun is shining. The sky is blue.

The hot sun is shining in the blue sky. The sea is flat.

Suddenly, the lifeguard shouts loudly: shark! quick! get out of the water!

The shark is hungry.

Rick was in the water he doesnt hear the lifeguard.

Rick sees the shark behind him.

Rick sees the shark’s sharp, white teeth.

Suddenly he sees another fin in the water.

It is a dolphin!

The dolphin hits the shark.

The shark swims away, Rick and Jen are safe.
