Nucleus
It’s function is to control the center of the cell
Is similar to parents in a city because parents control everything (in their house) just like a Nucleus controls the cell.
Chromosomes
It’s function is to store instructions or gental material (DNA) for the cell’s activities.
Is similar to a storage room in a city because it stores DNA. Just like a storage room stores stuff.
Nucleolus
It’s function is to make ribosomes.
Is similar to a writer in a city because writers make books just like the Nucleolus makes ribosomes.
It’s function is to make ribosomes.
Is similar to a writer in a city because writers make books just like the Nucleolus makes ribosomes.
Rough ER
It’s function is to transport cells through a series of tubes.
Is similar to a taxi in a city because like a taxi transports people. The ER transports protein.
Smooth ER
It’s function is to make protein and lipids.
Is similar to People in a city because people make things like pencils, paper, etc.A ER makes protein & lipids.
Gogli Complex
It’s function is to modifies & package probio & carbonhydrates.
It’s similar to a post office because it modifies & packages things like a post office.
Lysosome
It’s function is to break down damaged organelles.
Is similar to a trash truck because like a trash truck a Lysosome breaks down… garbage really.
Mitochondria
The function of it is it produces energy in a form the cell can use.
Is similar to the sun because it produces energy like the sun.
Ribosome
It’s function is to recieve instructions from the chromosome .
Is similar to a worker because like a worker the ribosome recieves instructions on what to do.
Vacuole
It’s function is a storage sac. Stores incoming nutrients.
Is similar to a greenhouse because Greenhouses store plants and the plants get nutrients like a Vacuole.
Cell membrane
Itś function is to act like a barrier keeping things IN & keeping things OUT.
Is similar to a fence because fences keep kids (Who will tear up the flowers) out & keeps the flowers in just like a Cell membrane keeps things out & in too.
