As I Grew Older –

Poem by Langston Hughes

It was a long time ago.
I have almost forgotten my dream.
But it was there then,
In front of me,
Bright like a sun—
My dream.

And then the wall rose,
Rose slowly,
Slowly,
Between me and my dream.
Rose until it touched the sky—
The wall.
Shadow.

I am black.
I lie down in the shadow.
No longer the light of my dream before me,
Above me.
Only the thick wall.
Only the shadow.
My hands!
My dark hands!

Break through the wall!
Find my dream!
Help me to shatter this darkness,
To smash this night,
To break this shadow
Into a thousand lights of sun,
Into a thousand whirling dreams
Of sun!

My dream

Every one in the world has a specail dream, that he believes to make it in the future, and he will make any thing to achieves it .

If you have a dream, you must have a plane to arrive your own goal.

My dream is to be a successful doctor, because I love to help the people, and to fight thim in their diseases, in this way the people will be healthy.

Studying medicine is very hard specaily in Israel, admission requirements to medicine are very difficult, because treating the people is not easy.

Two years ago, I was want to learn to be a doctor abroad, but two years and after I thought that I can study in my hometown.

I wish that I can do my dream, also to all people who believe in themselves …

Finally, every one can arrive and achieve his goal, if he make the right plane also who walk in the success roud!

Thankyou !
