Raanana Turned Ninety – רעננה בת 90

Raanana turned ninety in 2012. There were lots of events and celebrations. But in my mind, the most colorful project was the wall on the outside of Hapoel Raanana soccer stadium. Children were asked to contribute painted tiles commemorating the anniversary. Here is some of their splendid artwork. Was Ze’ev Bielski, the mayor involved? I have no idea. You’ll have to ask.
