Israelite Samaritans

Israelite  Samaritans  are  the  smallest  and  oldest  community  in  the  world.  Today  there  are  almost  700  Samaritans  in  Israel.  They  came  from  Samaria  in  Israel  and  when  in  721 BCE  a  small  part  of  the  Israelite  community  was  exiled,  the  Samaritans,  who  believe  they  were  from  the  tribes  of  Levi,  Ephraim  and  Manashe,  remained  in  Israel.

Will  the  ability  to  make  some  small  compromises  while  keeping  their  traditions  help  Israelite  Samaritans    remain  unique  and  see  their  community  continue  to  grow?
