Deadpool

Deadpool is a 2016 American superhero black comedy film directed by Tim Miller and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, based on the Marvel Comics character. Ryan Reynolds stars as the title character, Deadpool premiered in Paris on February 8, 2016, and was released on February 12 in the United States in IMAX, DLP, D-Box and premium large format. The film was also a commercial success, grossing over $783 million worldwide and breaking numerous box-office records, becoming the ninth highest-grossing film of 2016,

Based upon Marvel Comics most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
