Plate boundaries: a boundary between two or more plates. There are three types of plate boundaries. Divergent boundaries expand, Convergent Boundaries form when two plates collide. Last but not least ,Transform Boundaries form when two plates slide past each other.
<Real world examples of plate boundaries
1.San Andreas fault a transform boundary: causes earthquakes, has no volcanoes, creates seafloor, and does not have / cause deep ocean trenches.
2. Mid-atlantic ridge, a divergent boundary:causes earthquakes, has volcanoes, creates seafloor, causes mid-ocean ridges, and does not have deep ocean trenches.
3. The Andes mountains a convergent boundary: causes earthquakes, has volcanoes, destroys seafloor, and has deep ocean trenches.
