118 Bananas with Love

I have found this blank sheet of paper 178 days ago on my desk, with only ‘If I…’ written on it along with a banana you see in that photo, I didn’t know back then from whom and why it was sent to me, but since then, each day when I arrived to class I had found a new banana on my desk (with some black spots as I like) with a few words on it. I kept that piece of paper filling it up with new words written on the bananas, each day until today, which is my birthday. I know, you might think it is weird, or maybe a trick that some boys from class pulled at me, injecting vinegar into the banana, but it wasn’t like that and to be honest I kind of think it is romantic.

Today it is my birthday; I have decided to share your beautiful poem on my wall so YOU whom each day left a banana for me will know that I know who YOU are. If we just could we would spend this birthday of mine together.
