Thunder Storm Trouble

Friday

It was a nice sunny day and it was Matt’s brother’s birthday party, Matt and everyone at the party were in the bouncy house jumping and playing, then after everyone left, we were all in bed, and then there was thunder.

It was 11:00 at night and at first there was kind of quiet thunder then all there was was really, really loud thunder and really bright lightning. And Matt and his  little brother Jake are always petrified of thunderstorms. They were both freaking out. Now the thunderstorm was getting even worse. “ This thunderstorm is really scary”!!! Matt cried. “ Yah”!! Jake echoed. Then there was the loudest thunder Matt has ever heard in his entire life, KABOOOM!!!!! then CRACK!!!! and then CRASH!!! A huge tree fell down right in front of our house. Then everyone went silent. “ That went real well” Matt said scaredly. And then the thunderstorm got worse and worse, and after two hours, the thunderstorm finally calmed down and the storm ended. Matt thought he was going to pass out of final relief from the storm. And then Matt said it out loud, “ Mom, I think I’m going to pass out from relief.” “ No, you’re not Matt, stop being dramatic,” “ No, I actually think I’m going to pass out.” “ Ya, okay Matt.” Matt’s mom said strictly.

Saturday

                                            Then the next morning after breakfast Matt and Jake got to look at the tree that had fallen down. “ Whoa “ Matt said amazed of how big the tree was. “ Man, I can’t believe of how bad that thunderstorm was and now a fallen down tree”Matt said. “That’s real nice” Matt said sarcastically. “W-w- wow” Jake said still scared from the thunderstorm. “ That might have been the worst thunderstorm in my life but let’s hope there will never be one like that again” Matt said.

“ Well no thunderstorms for once in four days” . Matt said surprised that there wasn’t a thunderstorm for once. Well today was a good day, WITHOUT a thunderstorm for once in my life. Matt thought sarcastically. “ YAY, no thunderstorms!!!! Jake yelled. “ Uuhhuu”. Matt mumbled under his breath, just remembering about how bad the thunderstorm was. “ Jake, I’m going to bed be quiet”! Matt yelled. “ Ok, ok,ok” Jake said sorrowly.

Sunday

“ Mom, do you know what we’re gonna do about the tree”? Matt asked. “ Um, no, not yet.” Matt’s mom said, unsure if she will get someone to remove the tree from the yard. “ Well, hopefully we can get someone to remove the tree soon.” Matt said hopefully. “ Maybe in a few days I can get someone.” Matt’s mom also said hopefully.

EPILOGUE                                                             

Well Matt has experienced bad thunderstorms but not like this. This is basically the worst thunderstorm Matt has ever experienced in his life. And this was no ordinary thunderstorm, the whole time all there was was loud thunder and then like the loudest thunder in the world. Then a huge tree fell and it was probably at least 2 feet away from the house. Then the next day, Matt couldn’t believe of how big the tree was. That was the first time that a tree has ever fallen right near are house. That tree was really close to falling on the house. But then, after the storm, it didn’t seem so bad any more.
