CHOCOLATE SALAMI
INGREDIENTS

200 g dark chocolate, chopped (or 50 g dark Cocoa)

80 g unsalted butter

90 g white sugar

200g plain cookies (tea biscuits, Graham crackers, digestive cookies), crushed

2 tablespoons (30ml) dark rum (4 tablespoon of milk if made for children)

1 cup mixed nuts (any nuts you want), toasted and chopped
INSTRUCTIONS

Crush the buiscuits

Mix melted chocolate (or cocoa) and melted butter in a bowl.

Melt the sugar in the milk (or rhum).

Add the milk to the chocolate mixture.

Mix until the mixture is smooth.

Add crushed cookies and chopped nuts to the chocolate mixture and stir with spatula until well combined.

Put the mixture in a sheet of parchment paper.

Roll it up to form a log.

Leave in a fridge overnight.

Unwrap the logs and coat with powdered sugar.

Cut into slices and serve.
(It can be stored well wrapped in a fridge for up to 1 week or for up to 1 month in a freezer.)
