¨Dad, look at me¨, I exclaimed as I was sitting on top of the dugout.   ¨Ǵet down from there¨, Dad said from the ground.

                                                               So I jumped down!

¨Dad it hurts¨! I screamed to my dad.

                               Jimmy, are you okay!

Coach exclaimed running over to help me.

¨Coach, it hurts, when I fell I landed on my foot, I think I broke my foot¨, I sobbed and now was crying now in front of everyone on my Rhode Island baseball team and we were in the little league world series.

¨I’m pretty sure you didn’t break your foot¨,                                                                                                                    my Coach said worriedly.

¨Someone call 911¨, dad shouted into the bleachers! A couple minutes later we all heard the                                       BE-DO BE-DO BE-DO

and an ambulance pulled up to the baseball field and coach and dad carried me of the field and into the ambulance.   ¨Thank you for coming,¨ dad said to the ambulance driver!       I got driven to the hospital in Rhode  Island, because I live in Rhode Island so I get to go to their hospital!

Later that night my dad and mom came to check on my foot and me of course and I asked, ¨can I video chat with Colin wright now, I want to say that I’m okay and see if he won his first game!¨    Did my team win their first game? I asked my dad.

¨Yes, we won our first game, I just got a text message from coach                                                                               Dilaberslopering saying that we won our first game!

¨Dad so we’re 1-0 in the Little League World Series?¨

¨Yes!”

The next day I had to eat hospital breakfast and it was really bad, it tasted like brussel sprouts. Then I had to go get my foot in a cast!    When it was happening I kept screaming but finally it was all over and I got to video chat with Colin, but Colin wasn’t online for a long time so I had to wait for him.   But finally Colin got online and the minute he got online I opened up my video chat account and we talked for a long time but now I’m trying to fall asleep but I can’t because my foot really hurts and I can’t move it because it’s on the stretcher.

                                                                Colin:

“This is the coldest day in san francisco ever!” Aldo said to Colin.   “Are you kidding me, this is a super hot day, Colin replied back.

“In california it’s always way hotter than this, it’s like 110 degrees usually,

it’s great baseball weather since we have a baseball game this afternoon,¨ said Hunter!   Aldo and Hunter have been twins ever since the have been born and the act like it too!

A little while later Aldo, Hunter and Colin were walking down the dirt path to the baseball diamond to play a game of pickup-ball and they were all sad because they had just lost in the little league sectionals game, but at least when the got home the got to go out to Deviance cafe’s pizza!   ¨Hey, Colin do you want to Deviance cafe’s after we play some baseball, everyone from our baseball team was there, so we all got to eat pizza!

                                                                Jimmy:

Two days later…..       Dad said he coming today and that he should be here any minute now!   ¨Jimmy, are you doing okay?¨ Dad asked.   ¨Yey dad, I’m doing fine, It’s just my foot, it hurts just a little and with the cast I can’t really move it.¨ I replied back.   ¨That’s very good, but unfortunately your team lost there last 2 games and they are out of the Little League World Series, okay?¨   Dad said sounding sad.

¨What, how, we had all the best players!¨   I shouted so loud I’m so sure my teammates heard it in Williamsport.   ¨Stop shouting!¨   Dad said to Jimmy.  “Jimmy, I just want to tell you that you did really good this year and that sometimes you just have to deal with things that happen, OK?”

“Dad, can we still go to Colin’s last baseball game today?”   “Ya, but we better hurry because it starts in 1 hour!”

Mom walked into the room. ¨Mom, how are you feeling today? I asked.

I’m doing good, how are you?¨ She replied back.

¨ My foot is still hurting a lot and the food here tastes like brussel sprouts so I usually don’t eat it!¨ I said

“Oh, that is so bad, honey,”  Mom said something that actually meant something good, wow that’s awesome!    I thought to myself.   “I love you mom!”   I said to mom.

¨I love you too!,¨   mom replied

“Dad said that I could go to Colin’s last baseball game in 1 hour.” I told my mom   “Ok I’ll go too”   Mom replied.

Colin:

¨Play´s to first, two outs, outfield cut home!¨   Hunter our catcher yelled to our whole team.   ¨You got this, Colin!¨   Aldo yelled from shortstop to me.   My whole team was getting fired up!   Swish, Zip, Thud, Swish, Zip, Thud, Swish, Zip, Thud.

I threw three pitches right past the batter for three strikes and we were out of the top of the sixth inning and I am up first in the batting order and Rob Ravnica is up after me, I had to get a hit or Tokyo would win.

“Let’s go Colin,” Aldo yelled to me when I got to the plate.   I saw the pitch that I liked and I swung hard, so hard I almost fell and hit my head on the bat but I still hit it and when I hit it I hit it so hard I think the ball went to Rhode Island where I think Jimmy is right now!
